Misa Omote-表 美沙 Kutani Artist Handmade chopstick rest
Message from the artist:
Nice to meet you.
My name is Omote Misa.
I began studying Kutani ware, a traditional craft from Ishikawa, Japan, when I was twenty.
Today, I create small animal chopstick rests that blend modern sensibility with traditional
Kutani techniques.
While they're originally made for resting chopsticks, they can also hold other cutlery or brushes—or simply bring a gentle charm to your space as a tiny ornament.
Each piece is hand-painted with care, capturing the tender and expressive faces of these little animals.
Original: $19.80
