Kaya Kitchen Cloth

Made in Japan

Soft Kaya Fabric with Excellent Absorbency

Kaya fabric from Nara Prefecture is known for its exceptional softness and high absorbency.
Made from natural pulp-derived rayon fibers, this traditional cloth absorbs moisture quickly and dries efficiently.

With just a quick rinse, stains wash away easily, helping the cloth maintain its clean white appearance over time.
The fabric produces very little lint, making it ideal for wiping tableware, glassware, and delicate surfaces.

The soft, fluffy texture fits comfortably in your hand and becomes even softer with continued use.

Key Features

• Outstanding absorbency – quickly absorbs moisture
• Easy to clean – stains wash out easily and the cloth stays bright
• Becomes softer with use
• Low lint – perfect for wiping dishes and glassware

Traditional Kaya Cloth

This traditional soft kaya fabric is gentle enough even for sensitive skin.
It can also be used as a refreshing cooling cloth during hot summer days.

Material Benefits

Excellent absorbency
Made from a cotton and rayon blend. Rayon derived from natural pulp provides superior softness and moisture absorption.

Gentle on skin
Because it is made from natural fibers, it is soft enough for facial cleansing or even for wiping a baby’s skin.

Low lint
The fabric sheds very little lint, making it ideal for polishing tableware and glass cups.

Before First Use

Before first use, rinse the cloth with water to remove the natural starch coating.
Once rinsed, the cloth will become soft and fluffy.

(The starch used is a harmless plant-based starch.)
